It covers every aspect of the tour-operating business — from costing and pricing to operational accounting and management reporting.

  • Accounts payable and receivable
  • Planning, costing, and pricing

Operational Accounting

4 questions

Operational Accounting is a system-independent financial operations application for tour operators. It synchronizes data from any travel system, manages invoices, payments, expenses, advances, exchange rates, and approvals, then posts approved financial data to any advanced accounting system.

Yes. It can synchronize suppliers, agencies, reservation files, and service details from any travel system into the accounting workflow, reducing duplicate entry between operations and finance.

ITOMS Today

Archiving System

4 questions

The TSE Archiving System (also called Travel Filing System) is a digital document management solution fully integrated with ITOMS. It eliminates physical filing by letting staff drag-and-drop emails, scan faxes, and attach documents directly to agencies, suppliers, and booking records (PNRs).

The system handles a wide range of travel documents, including:

  • Vouchers, service orders, and payment orders
  • Itineraries and request forms
  • Invoices, debit notes, and credit notes
  • Incoming and outgoing emails
  • Scanned faxes and physical documents
  • Rate confirmations and supplier correspondence

There are two retrieval methods. First, directly from within ITOMS by opening the relevant PNR, agency, or supplier screen and clicking the attachment tab. Second, via a web-based search interface accessible from any browser — allowing staff to view, download, or print saved documents remotely.

Yes. In addition to the built-in categories (incoming, outgoing, rates, confirmation), you can create your own custom categories to organise documents in a way that best suits your company's workflow — making search and retrieval faster and more intuitive.

Technical & Support

5 questions

ITOMS is built on the .NET Framework with Windows Forms for the desktop interface, MySQL as the database engine, and IIS Server for web components. The system is locally hosted and secured with SSL/TLS encryption. Reporting is handled through Crystal Reports and supplemented by Web APIs for external integrations.

ITOMS is currently deployed as a locally hosted system, giving clients full control over their data on their own infrastructure. TSE also offers cloud-ready containerised deployments with elastic scaling designed to match peak operational seasons — please contact us to discuss the best deployment model for your organisation.

TSE targets a 99.9% operational environment uptime across its deployed systems. Our architecture is designed for high availability, with optimised algorithms ensuring rapid database response times even under maximum workloads.

No on-site programming staff are required for ITOMS's day-to-day operation and maintenance. The system is designed to be fully managed by travel operations staff without technical expertise. TSE provides ongoing support and updates as part of our service agreement.
